if you would have been installed solaris 8 on the same machine before then
you can use by changing boot aliases with new device path. else make
corresponding entry in /etc/vfstab

Dear Admins,

I have an E250 box, currently running Solaris 2.6. I have another disk,
already installed with Solaris 8, and I want to plug the disk into the
box, and boot from that disk instead of from old disk contained 2.6. Is
it allright just to plug and issue `boot [disk-alias` from ok prompt, or
~ I should perform several tasks before?

Thank you,
