[SunHELP] Samba

Mon Apr 22 09:01:08 CDT 2002

Hello gurus,

I'm running Samba 2.0.5 on Solaris 7 and am getting the following error in
my system log:

Apr 14 04:16:55 coleman nmbd[1062]: [2002/04/14 04:16:55, 0]
nmbd/nmbd_namequery.c:query_name_response(95)
Apr 14 04:16:55 coleman nmbd[1062]: query_name_response: Multiple (2)
responses received for a query on subnet 172.17.
5.56 for name BSC<1d>. This response was from IP 172.17.5.102.

I'm not sure what's causing this issue, but it's driving us crazy as it
shows up in HP Openview alarms. I've attached a copy of our smb.conf file, I
hope will help, but if anyone needs more information, please let me know.

smb.conf

Thanks.
