[SunHELP] Automating a telnet session.

I've used the Net::Telnet Perl module in the past to communicate from a Sun
box to network gear successfully.

CPAN says that Win32 is a usable platform for the module. You could write
up a Perl script using this module, and I think ActiveState Perl on Win32
will let you compile.

Expect would be your first choice ( I am not sure if it has NT port though),
otherwise rsh will do fine.

Hi Folks,

I have an application that requires the user to telnet
to a machine (from a Windows PC) and run a command. I
want to save the user the effort of typing in the
username and password and then typing out a command at
the prompt. Can all these be done by a single script
or batch file?

Any lead shall be appreciated.

Thanks,
Lance.
