What is leading you to believe that you have a memory leak? What utility
are you using to see this? What OS ver?

If you are going by the output of vmstat's free memory statistic, ignore it.

Subject: [SunHELP] memory leaks

My E3500 Running Oracle Enterprise 8.1.6
	E420 Running Oracle Client 8.1.7.0.0 with Coldfusion 4.5.1 SP2
which causes memory leaks on my E420 Box
Does anybody has any suggestions on how I can detect if its CFusion causing
the memory leaks, or if it is the oracle, or its the boxes itself that need
to be patched. I have installed the latest and greatest patches from SUN.
Is there a tool that would be able to determine why the memory is not
getting released?
