Hi,
I have a SparcStation LX with SunISDN 1.0.4 working with my ISP.
The only problem is that it keeps re-dialing every few minuets :-
07:21:02 [pppd] terminate_path: last link
07:21:02 [isdn] pipe_hangup: hangup detected fd 5
07:21:02 [pppd] terminate_path: TERMINATED p 4abc8 state 0 linkid 0
07:21:02 [pppd] disconnect: disconnected connection(s) from ifppp0
07:21:02 [pppd] process_ifppp_msg: ctl.len 16 dat.len 532 message 114
07:21:02 [pppd] process_ifppp_msg: EVENT INDICATION, ifppp0 muxid -1
07:21:03 [isdn] l4_rcv: received msg 64 cp 19a5f0 nai 0 conn_id 0
07:21:03 [isdn] [state=clearing] <-ACU_CLEAR_CO nai 0 conn_id 0 [releasing
context cp 19a5f0]
07:21:03 [isdn] clear cause: 16 dec, 10 hex
07:21:03 [isdn] txt: unknown code 0
07:21:03 [isdn] cost: 0
07:22:31 [pppd] process_ifppp_msg: ctl.len 28 dat.len 60 message 101
07:22:31 [pppd] process_ifppp_msg: CONNECTION REQUEST, ifppp0 needs connection
07:22:31 [pppd] process_ifppp_msg: ip_spoofing is 1
07:22:31   [pppd] interpret_ip: ip->ip_p 11 fraglen 40 iplen 40
07:22:31 [pppd] outgoing_call: p 4abc8 linkid 0 mode 0
07:22:31 [isdn] accept_fifo_connection handle 0x10001 fds 0
07:22:31 [isdn] accept_fifo_connection recvfd.fd 5
07:22:31 [pppd] Sending isdn_conn_rq address 08452121667 cc_nai -1 service D
channel_grouping 1 overlap_sending 0 fd 10

I have snooped the ifppp0 interface and I think it's a DNS request which is
requesting the link to establish.
How can I find the program which is doing the DNS request ?
I have norip ifppp0 in /etc/gateways and I am not running in.routed
