[SunHELP] cannot exec `as': No such file or directory

You need to make sure that as is in your path when compiling. If you are
using the Sun version it is in /usr/ccs/bin/as, if you have the GNU version
installed it will be where you installed it, frequently in
/usr/local/bin/as.
