[SunHELP] Crontab problem

I have a crontab for a user named "news", which not surprisingly goes out
and fetches news, or is supposed to.  It's been working fine for eons.
Did a reconfigure reboot last night to add a disk drive, and now the news
crontab isn't running.  Crond is running, running the executable
interactively as the news user works fine.  I did a crontab -e news and
re-saved the file, just for grins - no help.  Thoughts??
