[SunHELP] Bind 9.0.1 compile

Well,
After a lot of hassle (for some reason) I am getting close to having a 
Makefile that does not produce 1000 errors.  I am however getting this 
message when I try to run make:

ld: fatal: file unix/os.o: unknown file type
ld: fatal: File processing errors. no output written to named

has anyone gotten similar messages while trying to run make?  Thanks.
