[SunHELP] .nfs* files, Solaris client, NetApp Server

We've got a bunch of files like .nfsA420 scattered around in various
directories. From reading man pages it seems the NFS client renames
files that are "unlinked but still open" to .nfs*
(Look under "FILES" on the nfsd man page.)

Could this have something ro do with NetApp's "woffel" filesystem its
copy on write snapshot system? Who would have the file open?
