[SunHELP] Telnetd

|I have an E450 (production server) on which telnet has been enabled via
|/etc/inetd.conf, yet telnet wasn't started the last time the server was
|rebooted.
|I have tried to run the sighup command against the pid of /usr/sbin/inetd to
|no avail.

You wont see telnetd running unless someone actually makes a connection on port 
23.  Inetd just spawns it as required.  Is this the case or are you saying that 
inetd is not spawning telnetd??
