I have a Sparc 10 that I connected to my Linux box to remote
admin it through minicom. I made the serial cable using the
following pinouts (under the Sparc 10 section at the bottom):

http://www.stokely.com/unix.serial.port.resources/A-B-Ycablepinout.html

Also note, you have to have the serial jumpered for RS-232C.
Just hook it up, make sure the keyboard isn't pluged in, and
you should be good to go. Depending on the settings in the OpenPROM,
you may or may not see a processor and memory test at startup. Also,
if your OpenPROM is set to automatically boot, you might have to
interrupt it (L1A key sequence - in minicom, just send a break) and
boot the appropriate device to point to the master boot record.
Of course, this assumes you already have an OS on the box.

Make sure you take David's advice on the settings of 9600/8/N/1.
