[SunHELP] where to start

As far as I'm aware, all you need to do is make the appropriate changes in
/etc/system then...

# touch /etc/reconfigure
# init 6

/etc/reconfigure informs the OS to rebuild the kernel on boot. Or you could
make the relevant changes, take the machine down to the OK prompt (init 0)
then boot -r

Will.
