Hmm...In my recent encounter with Cisco switches (we previously used 
3com gear) things worked better if the Sun was nailed at 100 full 
duplex, and the Cisco port fixed at 100 but left auto negotiating the 
duplex.

Don't you just love autonegotiation ?
