[SunHELP] SCSI-Error? "Variable record length I/O"

Did you modify /kernel/drv/st.conf to add entries for your tape device? You
manufacturer should provide you with this information. For example a SONY
AIT drive needs these entries added....

tape-config-list=
"SONY    SDX-500C",     "Sony AIT",                     "SONY_AIT";
SONY_AIT        =       1,0x34,0,0x3d639,4,0x13,0x8c,0x8c,0x8c,3;

Is this an error / sth. to worry about?
I really don't have a clue - simply unable to find sth. in my docs and
through SunSolve.
