[Sunhelp] HELP!!!! Binding multiple IP to NIC

Except for 8, I've always been able to bring up virtual interfaces on the fly without plumbing them.  What happens when you try to unplumb one of those virtual interfaces?

I have to plumb all non-existant interfaces on 2.5.1, 2.6, 7, and 8,
virtual or actual.  The startup scripts do it for you when it finds
hostname.interfaceN
