[Sunhelp] I have the same probleme with my IPC.

I prefere your first sugestion where you said, maybe Solaris does not
support IPC anymore. In fact my Box had about 48MB of memory and I can not
place more memory.

What do you think about something like tftp. I have a Sparc
classic where I run Solaris 2.7.

maybe Solaris does not support IPC anymore. 
or you will require bigger memory something like 128MB for installation.
