[Sunhelp] manual mount of IDE CD-ROM on Solaris 2.6 (x_86)

I installed the 2.6 Core distribution on a Pentium Pro with two IDE disks and
an IDE CD-ROM.

The initial install from CD-ROM displayed
  isa/ata at 170,0/cmdk at 0,0:a.

I did a "ls -al /dev/dsk/* | grep 170 | grep :a" which returned
lrwxrwxrwx ... /dev/dsk/c1d0s0 -> ../../devices/isa/ata at 1,170/cmdk at 0,0:a.

I attempted "mount -rF hsfs /dev/dsk/c1d0s0 /cdrom" which returned
"hsfs mount: /dev/dsk/c1d0s0 is not an hsfs file system".

How does one do a manual mount of the CD-ROM?

Thanks,

    Irwin
