Ravi, Can you give the part number of This LAN Modem. It is confusing that,
other discussing about  3com office connect LAN modem. and you are asking
about 3com lan modem. I think these are two diffrent products..

I have connected 3com office connect lan modem in our lan. and able to
admin/configure it through E250. All the configuration done through web
browser and connection through Ethernet..

Hi All,

I am trying to connect the 56K LAN modem of 3com with the sun system(E420R 
solaris 2.6) but in vain. This modem doesnt have a serial port so i would 
like to know is there any adaptor/converter which will do RS232 to RJ45. 
Also is there a better way to do than this. The modem only has 4 UTP ports 
and 2 RJ11.
