     Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone have faced the prob that I had recently
     before.

     I have a ultra2 system with solaris 2.6 installed. On a particular
filesystem which df -k shows a free space of abt 200MB, and du on that
fileystem also shows a free space of abt 200MB.

However, when I try to mkfile 10m on that filesystem, it tell me "No
     space left on device".

When I fsck on that file system, it shows a 5.4% fragmentation.

Even after tunefs, I am still unable to create that 10mb file.

So, does anyone know how to reclaim that 200MB diskspace?

A propose solution would be to backup that filesystem, newfs it and
restore. But I am looking for a reason on how it is possible that the
200MB diskspce being "robbed" by solaris.

     Regards,
     Leslie Wang
