Try fuser /cdrom (or whatever your cd is mounted on) to see whether it is in
use. If you are in mount point directory or below in any other session
(shelltool or commandtool), you will get this error message.

Try eject command. If everything else fails, get a paper clip and stick it
in a little hole on the right of your CDrom to eject manually. ( This is the
procedure I had to revert lately to install RAID management software from
Sun. )

Hi,

I am trying to install oracle 8.1.7 on solaris sparc 5.8.When i have
completed installing through
first CD i am not able to eject the same.The whole installation comes to a
halt as i am not able to 
eject my CD.I am getting the message device message:device busy.But if i
kill the whole process 
then i am able to eject the first CD.But that is not going to solve my
purpose as i have to enter the second immedeatly
after we get the promt message for the second CD.


Can u please give some suggestion on the same from your help desk.
