[SunHELP] writing to utmpx !

Hi,

     I am running Solaris 7 on Intel and ever since I installed it, I keep getting messages like:

INIT: failed write of utmpx entry: "s0"

INIT: failed write of utmpx entry: "fw"

when I shutdown the machine. What could be the problem. There are sufficient permissions on utmpx to write and also no shortage of hard disk space.
