Apart from the info dished out by bootparamd during jumpstart, the install 
client needs to know it's timezone, locale,  timehost, and netmask. 
This is what sysconfig is trying to identify. 

When it fails next time, bring up a new window (assuming you have a graphics 
head), check the files in /tmp/root/etc (namely inet/hosts for timehost, 
default/init for locale & timezone and inet/netmasks for netmasks)  and 
determine which ones aren't being set. 

Worst case, hack the sysconfig file and add some debugging 
(/JUMPSTARTDIR/exec/kvm/SOLARIS_VER/sbin/sysconfig).

This should identify your problem...
