The stock battery is 1.8 Ahr.  The new battery, at 2.7 Ahr. would give about
a 1/3rd more run time.

I had them re-cell one of my packs and am getting better than 45 min. on my
3GX, 128 MB Ram, 6 GB HD, Solaris 2.6. If I get a chance I will do a more
precise measurement.  I usually power it off AC anyway and consider the
battery to be a built in UPS.

I think it would be better if I was runing the Tadpole Solaris 2.5.1 with
power saving features, but that's a guess.

My re-celled pack is slightly shorter than the stock pack, so I use a folded
paper shim to compensate.  I told Tom that shorter was ok, longer was not.

It's been a few months since they did mine, but I think the same people are
working there.  If someone decides to have them do the work, I can bring a
diesected sample pack to refresh Tom's memory.
