[SPARCbook] Installed latest 7_Recommended Patch Cluster,lost 'ts102' & FB

I worked out this problem a little while ago. I do not remember the exact
procedure, but it is in a faq some where on www.netsys.com. You will have to
remove one or two of the patches that you installed, rename a kernel module
and then reinstall the patches. Then move the renamed module back.

Sorry that I can not be of more help.

P.S I am not sure if the mailing list is archived or not, but I posted the
procedure a few years ago.

Joseph

Subject: [SPARCbook] Installed latest 7_Recommended Patch Cluster, lost
'ts102' & FB

Hello all,

As stated above, I have a SPARCBook 3TX, and it has Solaris 7 for
Tadpole installed. I installed the latest patch cluster (7_Recommended)
and upon reboot, my framebuffer is lost (can't be found), the system
can't load 'ts102', and there are PCMCIA tags lost...

Any pointers, short of a re-install?

Thanks,

Lionel
