I've had some experience with these controllers... usually when you use
newer drivers, you can't quite fit the rails in exactly, and that's
probably why they're not included. :)

Yup, rubber feet are the way to go.

Also, a good thing to do is to put rubber feet on top of the corners of
the drive as well as the corners of the board because the newer drivers
are far thinner than the old ones used in the SparcBook 3's. Unless you
want your hard drive bouncing around that is. :)

Be careful with the feet though, you'll want the small foam ones, not the
solid rubber ones. Also make sure you don't cover the breath hole on the
drive, and never put the feet on the body of the drive - only on the
corners. It is possible to apply pressure to the middle of the drive
(body) - if you do this, you may damage the drive. Big foam feet are bad
as they'll cook the drive. You may need to stack 2-3 foam feet on top of
each other depending on the thickness of the ones you get. (Got mine from
Radio Shack.)

You'll want a snug fit once the tray goes back on. Not too tight, but you
don't want the drive rattling around loose in the tray either.
