[SPARCbook] linux install trouble

I have a  tar and gziped file of a working 2.3.5 kernel and modules 
thatt is 1.5 MB's in size. Untar in the root directory, update the 
silo.conf file, run silo and reboot. I have not built a recent kernel, I 
will plan on it the for the weekend.
