[SPARCbook] SparcBook 3000XT & Debian install problems

Hi List,

I'm having problems in getting Debian potato to install on a 3000XT.

The install kicks in from the CD fine but fails to detect the IDE
drive.  Does the boot kernel support IDE drives as standard or do I have
to pass a parameter to SILO.  During boot-up from CD no IDE drivers seem
to show up.  The machine is fine as Solaris 2.6 went on ok.

I had the same problem with SuSE 7.3 as well.

Any pointers?
