If it is a PReP, it is a PowerPC, not a 68k. Most of them were either 
603 or 604e powered, and are basically a PC with some glue logic to fit 
the CPU in there.

PPC PowerStack (as well as its Bull Estrella counterpart) did run AIX 
up to 4.3 or 4.4 (memory fails me). Linux did run on that as well.
