Everything I know about it says it's a PReP 68K machine.
If that turns out not to be the case, I'll let you know :-)

I suppose it's all swappable since we're talking about MVME boards
under
the covers, but I thought the first-gen stackable PowerStack systems
were 88k-based, and the later towers were PowerPC.
Are you saying you have AIX for the 88k?
If it won't run AIX, can I have dibs on the PowerStack 88k? :D
