I ran across to a couple of references to this approach, but as far as I
could tell the people who did this had machines where the password was
stored in a 24RF08 EEPROM, not on a 8356908 microcontroller. That may
work here, too, but I wouldn't have any idea which pins might need to be
shorted without a datasheet, unfortunately.
