[rescue] Electricity cost

You should work on getting your Ham license - it really isn't hard, especially
if you have any sort of understanding electricity...

Radios are cheap - serviceable 2m/70cm HTs are as cheap as $40 at Amazon,
basic 2m radios are as low as $150 (plus PS & antenna)...
