Right - wasn't sure if that was what you were alluding to. :)

Pulled a 50-port 10/100 switch and a 16-port Gigabit switch out of the 
dumpster the other day - both Netgear. So this is what I've begun using 
at home as my machines generally have GbE (Macs). Sure beats crappy wifi.
