    I briefly worked on the SAGE system at McChord AFB.  Each of the 
duplexed systems was powered down once a year for annual maintenance, and 
we had to call the powerhouse and let them know so they could turn down 
the A/C.  Otherwise, it would get VERY cold with only one of the systems 
pumping out heat from all those tubes.
