This has gotten interesting.  I have four working 300GB ST3300007FCV disks
working in two different A5200 arrays.  I can't find any information on google.
 Let me get some keywords out of the way for the next poor sap who is looking
for answers: 101-000-090 SENA A5000 A5100 A5200 ST33000007FCV 118032582-A01 EMC
DMX DMX-2G10-300 512bps 520bps D419 6A10 6A1A 61AE

I have returned the "bad" disk listed above, and have in front of me 4x
ST33000007FCV "bad" disks.  All five fail identically (faulting both loops) and
all five have model number on the sticker of 118032582-A01.  These "bad" disks
all appear to be from an EMC DMX, are model DMX-2G10-300 with model number on
the handle 101-000-090 and "512bps" on the handle and firmware D419.

The "good" disks all had 520 byte sectors (needing a reformat), the sled handles
had "520bps" written on them and all have firmware versions 6A10, 6A1A or 61AE.
 Interestingly, smartmontools gives device info, "SEAGATE  ST330000 CLAR300"
suggesting that the "good" disks are from a Clariion, while the "bad" disks are
from a DMX.

I have isolated one "bad" disk on a loop.  The FC switch only lists the port
status as "In_Sync" suggesting that the switch cannot connect to the loop.  The
A5200 reports the disk is faulted and lights an amber LED.

The only thing I haven't tried is putting the disk in a 2gb loop.  I only have
1gb loops.

If anyone is looking at buying disks for the A5000, be aware of this
incompatibility.
