My Quadra 700-something (I think, it's been in storage a while now) 
drives an early-2000s Dell flat panel at 1024x768 in color (either 8 or 
4 bpp, I don't recall) from its onboard framebuffer with an adaptor. I 
think I paid less than $5 for the adaptor on ebay; as I recall it has 
dip switches to set the mode line for the VGA side.
