[rescue] Imaging Solaris 2.5 without SCSI devices

So, I've dug out my broken old SB 3GX (works with external input
devices), which has a fairly stock Solaris 2.5 install with CDE and
OpenWindows, and NCE.

I'd like to make a restorable, potentially bootable backup image of
the drive before I mess too much of the configuration up.

Does anyone know the best way of doing this short of dding the disc to
a 1GB external SCSI drive?
