[rescue] A bit of a sad day...

I'm writing this email from the former SUN Menlo Park facility.  I'm here doing some performance testing for $WORK.

It's my first time here, and I can see that it would have been quite the place "back in the day".   There is^h^hwas lots of Sun purple here, but the painters are here today, and things are being painted a nice boring white.  Signs are coming down, and the new red ones are going up.

The buildings in MLP are pretty empty these days, and many staff here have been relocated to other facilities.  

On a more positive note, I see that Oracle is keeping the Sun name on new server equipment, above the Oracle name...for now.

Sigh...
