That'll be your problem then. I'm not sure how many Solaris systems get
an uncustomised install, but it's probably relatively few. None of the
systems at $work get one that's for sure.

There's plenty of good reasons for sticking with/switching to *BSD,
but Solaris flab really isn't one of them. Most of that flab is related
to GNOME and the stupid Java tools. Turn that stuff off, and it's quite
a bit better.

Perhaps not quite as slim as *BSD, but you'll find it pretty tough
getting a server from Oracle with as little as 2Gbytes of memory.
