With ingenuity, hard work, new fans, and fabricating heat sinks; it is
possible to make a Sun computer a lot quieter. I've been making a lot of
modifications to my SunBlade 2500 and am finally getting it quieted
down. I have a chronic headache, so I'm a lot more sensitive to noise
than most people. If I had known it was going to be so difficult, I
would have bought a different model.
