I would be surprised since I don't have OBP >4 for on most of my SPARC
systems, and Solaris Express tends to be a bit more cutting edge than
OpenSolaris. 

Well, color me surprised since OpenSolaris does indeed require 4.17,
even though Solaris Express doesn't.  Specifically they require the
wanboot functionality.  It is possible to work around, but it requires a
few steps:

4.18 is not availble for the SB150, but 4.17 is, which looks to be good
enough. 

Personally, I'd stick with Solaris Express in light of this news.
