Sorry to revive this old topic, but I wanted to thank you for your 
response.  It combined with some comments from friends in other venues 
convinced me to ditch the disk board entirely, and rely on external 
storage - StorEdge S1 to minimize how much extra rack space I'm taking up.

I haven't actually booted it up yet, but I'm hoping to have time 
tonight. :-)
