Pickup trucks and vans are generally rated by weight - 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, 
or 1 ton (for 1000-2000lbs cargo capacity).

This is why I have a Box truck (and the last box truck I had w/o a lift 
gate is why my new one does have a lift gate. :)
