Everyone and his kid brother is now selling some sort System CM stack.
OpsWare, BladeLogic, Microsoft, Sun, IBM (Tivoli), and the list rolls  
on. With
the more expensive ones that promise full provisioning and auditing,   
I've
developed my own version of bullshit bingo. When they hit my magical
number, I start heckling.

I use a script to generate Solaris packages and patches based on a few
questions. The scripts themselves are damn ugly. You only make package
prototype files manually if you are insane or stupid.
