What is amazing is how some things can circulate through a group of
people. 

For example, when I was in high school, I played Starfleet Battles,
Starfire, and other games like that.  One of my friends had a set of
manuals, SSD sheets, and other game materials from Starfleet Battles.

Years later in college I bought a set of Starfleet materials and manuals
from a guy, and when I got home and opened it all up I realized it was
the same set of materials my friend had back in high school.

I met my friend from high school some years later on a road trip and we
talked about the game. He still liked it and I was going to give it to
him, but we didn't get back together. Still, it almost ended up going
full circle.

I've seen the same computer system bought and sold in the same area, and
even come back to the original owner years later.

You see, sometimes when you try to throw something away, it comes back
to you.
