I bought a cheap "Norwood Micro" flat panel at CompUSA for $250. A week
later, I took it back, disgusted, and bought the Dell E173FP ($243,
shipped, at the time), which is PERFECT. GREAT picture, no dead pixels,
etc. The Norwood Micro had ghosting, bad pixels, and just a horrible picture
quality.

$WORK bought me another E173FP (for the office) for $223 a week ago.

Even nicer is the 1704FP, which has analog and DVI (the 173 only has analog),
but delivery times on those right now are in the 1-2 week range. Price isn't
bad - $265 last I checked. I've got a 1701FP on my Dell Windows box at
the office, and its one of the nicest, sharpest LCDs I've seen.

The Dell 2005FPW (widescreen 19") uses the same LCD panel as the Apple
20" LCD, but has a different backlight. I've seen them as cheap as $550.
