Actually almost all 19" panels are 1280x1024 no matter what.  The  
expensive ones like I have have invisible or barely visible pixel  
delineation.

for higher than 1280x1024 you need to go for a 20" display... and  
about a $200 cost difference... i.e. they run around $700-900 instead  
of $500-700.
