Oh yeah, I've also got a Synoptics 5000 monster... hub? switch? 
concentrator? with something like 36 managed FDDI ports across 6 
interface boards and redundant PSUs, all in a ~10U, ~80 lb. rackmount 
box. It's anybody's for free to pick up in Seattle, or just pay 
shipping. hooray for fddi! fun! supposedly it's capable of token ring 
and ethernet switching as well as atm and a pile of other stuff given 
the right add-in cards and who knows what else. I bought it secondhand 
and then a week later found a much smaller Cisco 1400, so I never used 
it.
