   Mea culpa: it appears to be the current iLife installer that blows
you off if your system only has a G3. It looks like Toast will do some
of this for you, and I also saw pinters to the Sizzle software at:

Charismac's Discribe does DVS, and it nly requires a G3:

   Maybe I'll wait until my birthday and ask for a case and some
software -- unless someone wants ot make a swap for an external 2GB Jaz
drive with five or six discs...?
