It's based on a true story, although it's a bit enhanced.  It happened in
Atlanta, but I've seen a plagarized version on the 'net where the plagarist
changed "Atlanta" to some city in Texas ("Dallas", IIRC).

There's just a little introduction.  A couple of faked messages ... some guy
asking, basically, "What's this 'mailbox baseball' I hear about?" and the
"headers" of my reply.  I assume the folks who copied it didn't see that the
headers were fake, and part of the story.
