I'm not too concerned about excessive redundancy.  

I've been hand mirroring some things, but keep wishing for there to be a
better way.  I think that learning more about wget would help, but I
also am interested in ways to organize and index it, including PDFs and
PS files (as much as possible, assuming that they don't just use bitmap
images of the pages like some older MIT documents do).
